I've Been Hacked

My hotmail email address was hacked. They got my password and changed my security question. They have been emailing people that I am stuck in Nigeria and need money sent. Please don't respond to any such emails. I don't have access to my address book so I don't know anyone's email addresses.

Isnt that insane? Not only did they hack your address and send people the Nigeria info but when I copied and pasted the email to notify you, they sent me another email from your address that said 'I know it sounds crazy but I really am stuck in Africa, trying to get home'!! So wierd. What do you think opened you up to that?

Surveys is what I think did it. I think that's how they got my password. The day after I filled out the baby one, they got into it. I'll never fill another one out, as fun as they are. Also, I found out that hotmail and yahoo accounts are extrememly easy to hack into. It makes me sick. And since the account was a free one, Microsoft can't access it suposedly, to shut it down. To get support you have to email and a response takes 24 hours. If that response didn't work, it takes another 24 hours to get another suggestion. Sheesh!!!

Hey, Jonathan reminded me of something: What kind of anti-virus do you have? Ours tells us when someone is trying to hack into our email or our computer. It's free. It's called 'avast'.

I actually had avast on here. One of my computer Guru friends was over when I found out and he immediately downloaded a different one that is suppose to be the best and it's free too.
