Etsy

I've been wanting to start a website for quite some time now and had even considered having a store on eBay. Since eBay is having a little trouble right now, or maybe I should say they are making a lot of trouble for sellers, I've decided not to sell on eBay anymore. That is unless they change their new fees. This is beside the point however. I have decided to open a store on a website called Etsy. For those of you unfamiliar with Etsy, it is a website that is exclusivly for handmade items. They have some awesome things on there and some amazing artisans. I recently found the most beautiful silver ring on there that is a large handmade silver ginko leaf. They have things for everyone, even some great clothing. So my store, Little Belles Boutique, is now a part of Etsy as well. And hopefully it will do well. Here is a link so y'all can check it out. http://www.littlebellesboutique.etsy.com There isn't much in there yet for sell but, tell me what y'all think.

My friend bookyeti has a store on etsy as well, making soaps and handmade/handbound leather journals. She's doing really well with her sales.

Hi Heather! :) I think you'll like Etsy! it's a lovely little online shop - has such a nice atmosphere - so much better than Ebay and is great for sellers too. There's so many cool unique items, and it's really where people go when they want something different and truly handmade with love. I'm sure your work will be a success!

Also, I can vouch for the beauty of the silver ginko leaf ring...in fact it's lovelier than the photos. I ordered it about a month ago - it's beautiful (got the matching pendant too). So pretty!

I'm glad to know that it's pretty in person. I stumbled across it and fell in love with it. It reminds me of my grandparents. They both died a couple of years ago and they always had a ginko tree. I really want to order it. Maybe one day I'll when I sell something on there, there are so many bowmakers. But I told my hubby about it since our anniversary is coming up next month.
